Self-host Petio on DockHive
Petio is a third party companion app available to Plex server owners to allow their users to request, review and discover content. The app is built to appear instantly familiar and intuitive to even the most tech-agnostic users. Petio will help you manage requests from your users, connect to other third party apps such as Sonarr and Radarr, notify users when content is available and track request progress. Petio also allows users to discover media both on and off your server, quickly and easily find related content and review to leave their opinion for other users.

Running Petio on DockHive
Smallest size
Petio needs at least a Micro HivePod (about $2 a month if it runs all the time). Smaller sizes can't be picked for it. It is billed by the hour while it runs, from your plan's included vCPU-hours first, and a stopped pod costs nothing.
Its database is included
Petio comes with MongoDB inside the same HivePod, set up for you with its own generated password. Only the app can reach it, and you pay for the pod's size only.
Its own HTTPS address
Petio gets its own HTTPS address as soon as it's running. You can also serve it on your own domain: add the domain to the pod and the certificate is issued automatically.
Your data and backups
Petio's data stays on the pod's disk and survives restarts. HivePod backups include all of it, and restoring a backup brings back the same app with the same data.

Questions about hosting Petio
How do I self-host Petio on DockHive?
Open HivePods → App Marketplace in the DockHive console, pick Petio, choose a size and a region and click Install. It runs in its own HivePod at its own HTTPS address, usually in about a minute.
How much does it cost to run Petio?
An app pod is billed like any HivePod: by the hour while it runs, from your plan's included vCPU-hours first. Petio needs at least a Micro pod, which is about $2 a month if it runs all the time. A stopped pod costs nothing.
Where is my Petio data kept?
On the pod's disk, in the region you picked. It survives restarts, HivePod backups include it, and restoring a backup brings back the same app with the same data.
Do I need a separate database for Petio?
No. Petio comes with MongoDB inside the same HivePod, set up for you. You pay for the pod's size only, nothing extra for the database.
Can I put Petio on my own domain?
Yes. Add your domain on the pod's Custom domains card, create the CNAME and TXT records it shows at your DNS provider, and the HTTPS certificate is issued once the domain is verified.
Is Petio made by DockHive?
No. Petio is an open-source project by its own developers; see docs.petio.tv for its documentation. DockHive's App Marketplace installs and runs it for you.
