Running Immich on DockHive
Smallest size
Immich needs at least a Medium HivePod (about $8 a month if it runs all the time). Smaller sizes can't be picked for it. It is billed by the hour while it runs, from your plan's included vCPU-hours first, and a stopped pod costs nothing. A Medium pod needs more than the Free Tier's 1 vCPU, so use the Developer or Pro Plan.
Its databases are included
Immich comes with PostgreSQL and Redis inside the same HivePod, set up for you with their own generated passwords. Only the app can reach them, and you pay for the pod's size only.
Its own HTTPS address
Immich gets its own HTTPS address as soon as it's running. You can also serve it on your own domain: add the domain to the pod and the certificate is issued automatically.
Your data and backups
Immich's data stays on the pod's disk and survives restarts. HivePod backups include all of it, and restoring a backup brings back the same app with the same data.

Questions about hosting Immich
How do I self-host Immich on DockHive?
Open HivePods → App Marketplace in the DockHive console, pick Immich, choose a size and a region and click Install. It runs in its own HivePod at its own HTTPS address, usually in about a minute.
How much does it cost to run Immich?
An app pod is billed like any HivePod: by the hour while it runs, from your plan's included vCPU-hours first. Immich needs at least a Medium pod, which is about $8 a month if it runs all the time. A stopped pod costs nothing.
Where is my Immich data kept?
On the pod's disk, in the region you picked. It survives restarts, HivePod backups include it, and restoring a backup brings back the same app with the same data.
Do I need a separate database for Immich?
No. Immich comes with PostgreSQL and Redis inside the same HivePod, set up for you. You pay for the pod's size only, nothing extra for the database.
Can I put Immich on my own domain?
Yes. Add your domain on the pod's Custom domains card, create the CNAME and TXT records it shows at your DNS provider, and the HTTPS certificate is issued once the domain is verified.
Is Immich made by DockHive?
No. Immich is an open-source project by its own developers; see immich.app for its documentation. DockHive's App Marketplace installs and runs it for you.
