DockHive for AI agents

Tell your agent "deploy this."

DockHive ships an MCP server inside the hivepod CLI. Connect it to your AI agent and it can deploy with Drone, read logs, manage apps, domains, HivePods and databases, without leaving the chat.

  1. Ask Tell your agent what you want, in plain words.
  2. Call deploy The agent calls the DockHive deploy tool from the MCP server in the CLI.
  3. Drone ships it Drone works out the stack, writes the build setup and heals failed builds.
  4. Live The agent hands back your HTTPS URL on <app>.dockhive.app.

Setup

Install, log in, connect.

The MCP server is part of the CLI, so there is nothing else to run.

  1. 01 · Install the CLI
    macOS · Linux
    $ curl -fsSL https://dockhive.io/install.sh | sh
    Windows · PowerShell
    PS> irm https://dockhive.io/install.ps1 | iex
  2. 02 · Sign in
    $ hivepod login

    Sign in to your DockHive account once. The MCP server uses the same login.

  3. 03 · Connect Claude Code
    $ claude mcp add dockhive -- hivepod mcp

    Then ask Claude to "deploy this to DockHive".

Print the config, paste it in.

Run the command below. It prints the JSON block for your client, with the full path to hivepod on your machine. Add it to the client's MCP settings and restart it.

$ hivepod mcp --print-config
Example output
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "dockhive": {
      "command": "/Users/you/.hivepods/bin/hivepod",
      "args": ["mcp"]
    }
  }
}

Tools

What your agent can do.

Everything you would do in the console, as tools your agent can call.

Deploy

Drone deploys your current folder or a GitHub repo, zero config.

  • deploy
  • deployment status
  • build logs

Apps

Inspect and operate the apps you already run.

  • list apps
  • app logs
  • set env
  • redeploy
  • rollback

Domains

Attach your own domain to an app, with automatic HTTPS.

  • custom domains

HivePods

Spin up a cloud dev environment and run commands in it.

  • create
  • exec

Databases

Provision a managed database and wire it into your app.

  • create
  • connection string

Usage

Check what you are using and what it costs.

Safety

Agents get help, not the keys to everything.

Secrets stay home

Secrets and .env files are never uploaded. Your agent sets env var values through the set env tool instead.

Confirm before delete

Deleting an app or a HivePod needs your explicit confirmation. An agent cannot do it on its own.

Your agent writes the code. Now it can ship it too.

$ curl -fsSL https://dockhive.io/install.sh | sh
