A Render alternative with an AI deploy agent
If you're looking for a Render alternative for web services, background APIs and databases, DockHive deploys from GitHub or your terminal. Drone writes the build setup, or builds your own Dockerfile, and heals failed builds.
What you get with DockHive
Zero-config deploys with Drone
Drone, the AI deploy agent, reads your repo, works out the stack, writes the Dockerfile, picks the port and health check and lists the env vars you need. No deploy config to write.
How Drone worksYour Dockerfile, if you have one
Already have a Dockerfile? DockHive builds it as-is and takes the port from its EXPOSE line. No Dockerfile? Drone writes one.
Dockerfile guideSelf-healing builds
If a build or health check fails, Drone reads the logs, fixes the build setup and retries before going live on <app>.dockhive.app with HTTPS.
See the build loopManaged databases
Postgres, MySQL and MongoDB, with Redis and RabbitMQ on paid plans. TLS by default on every connection.
Managed databasesCustom domains with automatic HTTPS
Add your domain, point a CNAME at DockHive and the Let's Encrypt certificate is issued for you. Every app also gets <app>.dockhive.app.
App hostingDeploy from your AI agent
The hivepod CLI ships an MCP server. Connect Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor or Windsurf and your agent can deploy, read logs, set env vars, roll back and attach domains.

Workloads run on a decentralized network of independent nodes rather than inside one provider's data centers. Node operators contribute compute by running a node.
About the networkMigrate in minutes

- 3 Move your env varsDrone lists the variables your app reads. Set their values in the console, with hivepod deploy --env, or through your AI agent. Values are write-only.
- 4 Point your domainAdd your domain to the app and point its CNAME record at DockHive. The Let's Encrypt certificate is issued automatically.
Prefer the terminal? Install the CLI and run hivepod deploy in your project folder.

Questions about switching to DockHive
How do I move an app to DockHive from Render?
Connect your GitHub repository in the DockHive console and click Deploy with Drone. Copy your environment variables across, then point your domain's CNAME record at DockHive. HTTPS is set up automatically.
Do I need a Dockerfile or a config file?
No. Drone reads your code, writes the Dockerfile, picks the port and health check and lists the env vars your app needs. If your repository already has a Dockerfile, DockHive builds that instead.
Can my AI coding agent deploy to DockHive?
Yes. Install the hivepod CLI, run hivepod login, then connect Claude Code with claude mcp add dockhive -- hivepod mcp. Claude Desktop, Cursor and Windsurf work too.
How much does DockHive cost?
There is a Free Tier, a Developer Plan at $3/month and a Scale Plan through sales. Usage beyond your plan is $0.05 per vCPU-hour, $0.10 per GB-month of database storage and $0.02 per GB of bandwidth.
Are my secrets safe during the move?
Secrets and .env files are never uploaded. You set environment variable values in the console, with hivepod deploy --env, or through your agent, and they are write-only.
