Self-host Jackett on DockHive
Jackett works as a proxy server
It translates queries from apps (Sonarr, Radarr, SickRage, CouchPotato, Mylar3, Lidarr, DuckieTV, qBittorrent, Nefarious etc.) into tracker-site-specific http queries, parses the html or json response, and then sends results back to the requesting software. This allows for getting recent uploads (like RSS) and performing searches. Jackett is a single repository of maintained indexer scraping & translation logic - removing the burden from other apps.

Running Jackett on DockHive
Smallest size
Jackett needs at least a Micro HivePod (about $2 a month if it runs all the time). Smaller sizes can't be picked for it. It is billed by the hour while it runs, from your plan's included vCPU-hours first, and a stopped pod costs nothing.
Its own HTTPS address
Jackett gets its own HTTPS address as soon as it's running. You can also serve it on your own domain: add the domain to the pod and the certificate is issued automatically.
Your data and backups
Jackett's data stays on the pod's disk and survives restarts. HivePod backups include all of it, and restoring a backup brings back the same app with the same data.

How much does it cost to run Jackett?
An app pod is billed like any HivePod: by the hour while it runs, from your plan's included vCPU-hours first. Jackett needs at least a Micro pod, which is about $2 a month if it runs all the time. A stopped pod costs nothing.
Where is my Jackett data kept?

Can I put Jackett on my own domain?
Yes. Add your domain on the pod's Custom domains card, create the CNAME and TXT records it shows at your DNS provider, and the HTTPS certificate is issued once the domain is verified.
Is Jackett made by DockHive?
No. Jackett is an open-source project by its own developers; see github.com/Jackett/Jackett#readme for its documentation. DockHive's App Marketplace installs and runs it for you.
