Running Vaultwarden on DockHive

Smallest size

Vaultwarden needs at least a Nano HivePod (about $1 a month if it runs all the time). Smaller sizes can't be picked for it. It is billed by the hour while it runs, from your plan's included vCPU-hours first, and a stopped pod costs nothing.

Its own HTTPS address

Vaultwarden gets its own HTTPS address as soon as it's running. You can also serve it on your own domain: add the domain to the pod and the certificate is issued automatically.

Your data and backups

Vaultwarden's data stays on the pod's disk and survives restarts. HivePod backups include all of it, and restoring a backup brings back the same app with the same data.

Questions about hosting Vaultwarden

How do I self-host Vaultwarden on DockHive?

Open HivePods → App Marketplace in the DockHive console, pick Vaultwarden, choose a size and a region and click Install. It runs in its own HivePod at its own HTTPS address, usually in about a minute.

Is Vaultwarden made by DockHive?

No. Vaultwarden is an open-source project by its own developers; see github.com/dani-garcia/vaultwarden for its documentation. DockHive's App Marketplace installs and runs it for you.
