Running RackPeek on DockHive

Smallest size

RackPeek needs at least a Micro HivePod (about $2 a month if it runs all the time). Smaller sizes can't be picked for it. It is billed by the hour while it runs, from your plan's included vCPU-hours first, and a stopped pod costs nothing.

Its own HTTPS address

RackPeek gets its own HTTPS address as soon as it's running. You can also serve it on your own domain: add the domain to the pod and the certificate is issued automatically.

Your data and backups

RackPeek's data stays on the pod's disk and survives restarts. HivePod backups include all of it, and restoring a backup brings back the same app with the same data.

Questions about hosting RackPeek

How do I self-host RackPeek on DockHive?

Open HivePods → App Marketplace in the DockHive console, pick RackPeek, choose a size and a region and click Install. It runs in its own HivePod at its own HTTPS address, usually in about a minute.

How much does it cost to run RackPeek?

On the pod's disk, in the region you picked. It survives restarts, HivePod backups include it, and restoring a backup brings back the same app with the same data.

Can I put RackPeek on my own domain?

Yes. Add your domain on the pod's Custom domains card, create the CNAME and TXT records it shows at your DNS provider, and the HTTPS certificate is issued once the domain is verified.

Is RackPeek made by DockHive?
