Simple, privacy-friendly website analytics

Plausible shows the numbers that matter on one clear dashboard: visitors, pages, sources, countries and goals. It uses no cookies and collects no personal data, so you don't need a cookie banner, and the script is tiny so your site stays fast.

Running Plausible Analytics on DockHive

Smallest size

Plausible Analytics needs at least a Small HivePod (about $4 a month if it runs all the time). Smaller sizes can't be picked for it. It is billed by the hour while it runs, from your plan's included vCPU-hours first, and a stopped pod costs nothing. A Small pod needs more than the Free Tier's 1 vCPU, so use the Developer or Pro Plan.

Its database is included

Plausible Analytics comes with PostgreSQL inside the same HivePod, set up for you with its own generated password. Only the app can reach it, and you pay for the pod's size only.

Its own HTTPS address

Plausible Analytics gets its own HTTPS address as soon as it's running. You can also serve it on your own domain: add the domain to the pod and the certificate is issued automatically.

Your data and backups

Plausible Analytics's data stays on the pod's disk and survives restarts. HivePod backups include all of it, and restoring a backup brings back the same app with the same data.

How much does it cost to run Plausible Analytics?

An app pod is billed like any HivePod: by the hour while it runs, from your plan's included vCPU-hours first. Plausible Analytics needs at least a Small pod, which is about $4 a month if it runs all the time. A stopped pod costs nothing.

On the pod's disk, in the region you picked. It survives restarts, HivePod backups include it, and restoring a backup brings back the same app with the same data.

Do I need a separate database for Plausible Analytics?

No. Plausible Analytics comes with PostgreSQL inside the same HivePod, set up for you. You pay for the pod's size only, nothing extra for the database.

Can I put Plausible Analytics on my own domain?

Yes. Add your domain on the pod's Custom domains card, create the CNAME and TXT records it shows at your DNS provider, and the HTTPS certificate is issued once the domain is verified.

Is Plausible Analytics made by DockHive?

No. Plausible Analytics is an open-source project by its own developers; see plausible.io for its documentation. DockHive's App Marketplace installs and runs it for you.
