Running Atrium on DockHive

Smallest size

Atrium needs at least a Micro HivePod (about $2 a month if it runs all the time). Smaller sizes can't be picked for it. It is billed by the hour while it runs, from your plan's included vCPU-hours first, and a stopped pod costs nothing.

Its own HTTPS address

Atrium gets its own HTTPS address as soon as it's running. You can also serve it on your own domain: add the domain to the pod and the certificate is issued automatically.

Set up at install

The install form asks for 6 settings before Atrium starts, such as the details you sign in with. Everything else, including passwords other services need, is generated for you.

Your data and backups

Atrium's data stays on the pod's disk and survives restarts. HivePod backups include all of it, and restoring a backup brings back the same app with the same data.

Questions about hosting Atrium

How do I self-host Atrium on DockHive?

Open HivePods → App Marketplace in the DockHive console, pick Atrium, choose a size and a region and click Install. It runs in its own HivePod at its own HTTPS address, usually in about a minute.

How much does it cost to run Atrium?

An app pod is billed like any HivePod: by the hour while it runs, from your plan's included vCPU-hours first. Atrium needs at least a Micro pod, which is about $2 a month if it runs all the time. A stopped pod costs nothing.

Where is my Atrium data kept?

On the pod's disk, in the region you picked. It survives restarts, HivePod backups include it, and restoring a backup brings back the same app with the same data.

Can I put Atrium on my own domain?

Yes. Add your domain on the pod's Custom domains card, create the CNAME and TXT records it shows at your DNS provider, and the HTTPS certificate is issued once the domain is verified.

Is Atrium made by DockHive?

No. Atrium is an open-source project by its own developers. DockHive's App Marketplace installs and runs it for you.
